How To Host A Perfect Sales Call

What an amazing week of weather we’ve been having this week.

 

Can you believe we actually had a Bank holiday with decent weather. Amazeballs!

 

But enough about the weather!

 

I thought it might be useful this week to share some of my favourite sources of tips and advice for social media.

 

There are sooooo many people out there offering advice that it’s really easy to lose yourself for hours searching for tips and still not be sure you’ve pinned down the best advice.

Their website is packed with really thorough and well researched articles and they always have lots of good quality freebies on offer. They also have a podcast stuffed with incredibly useful advice.

I saw Mari at an Action COACH conference 10 to 12 years ago and her knowledge was really impressive. Her group is a great place to ask all your questions about Facebook and she hosts some really meaty and informative lives in there.

 

If you sign up to her newsletter you’ll get regular updates on changes to the platform or new features.

I saw Salma at the Content Marketing Academy Live event a couple of years ago and was really impressed with her breadth of knowledge and straightforward approach. Let’s be honest, as soon as you talk about ‘sales calls’ there’s a cringe factor isn’t there?

 

It can conjure up images of slimy sales people trying to push you into buying something you don’t want or need can’t it?

 

BUT, to grow your business you’re almost certainly going to need to host a sales call or meeting, so let’s talk about how to get rid of the cringe factor and turn these into something that both you and your potential customer actually enjoy.
